Overview

The Marlin Model 70 is a semi-automatic carbine made by the Marlin Firearms Company of North Haven, Conneticut.

The Model 70 follows on from its predecessor the well regarded Model 60 as a reliable and very useable small ‘starter’ rifle.

It features a 10 round box magazine and being relatively light and easy to handle makes it well suited as a first rifle for young shooters.

Also the low price of .22 ammunition makes it suitable for casual recreational target shooting (“plinking”)
